The Bathroom Scale

A few years ago I was skiing out in Colorado and rode up the chairlift with the head of the Center for Obesity Research and Education. I asked him if there was a secret to losing weight or controlling obesity. He said, in general, it can be summed up in five simple words. "Eat less and exercise more." So that's what I'm going to do to drop a few pounds gained in the past few months. 

I'm going to miss the ice cream...

lol. Sorry, had to chuckle about your comment about missing the ice cream. I weigh less than the number on your scale, but I am not where I want to be, and tomorrow begins my goal of loosing not just a few pounds but becoming 'stronger', last week at the office I had a bit of a hard time changing that water jug ;) My advice is protein first and stay away from those bad, but delicious carbs! ;)

Well, actually I found these really good fudgesickles that are only 40 calories so I don't even have to miss the ice cream. I'm down 5 pounds and feeling great!

How are you doing?! I have been doing very good, trying to eat more fruits/vegetables, but haven't weighed myself yet. I can't say I'm doing good on the 'strength' side tho.

It's going great - down 8 lbs!
This cold weather is making it hard to want to run though.
