A couple of months ago, a friend of mine walked into my studio with an interesting idea. She was looking for a new image to better represent the column she writes for a magazine. She was familiar with my sketches and thought I might be the "perfect artist". She even wrote an article about finding what would ultimately be the subject I drew for her - the Bohemian Waxwing. And there is even a little blurb in there about me along with a couple of other sketches from my blog. If you are interested, you can find her article here. And here are a couple of my earlier waxwing sketches that didn't quite make the cut:

I love the black bird!
I'm thinking about creating a logo for my blog and also thought about you. I don't have the guts to ask because I know artists, been married to one :), and it is not fair.
I'm trying to do it myself... yes, I used to draw in my twenties...
I saw the charcoal video and I'm so jealous!
He uses all his arm. I should go back to take classes.
I will try to do what I'm thinking. I'm obsessed with the reflexion of light so I might use a soap bubble.
I was watching some great pictures yesterday and saw how colors change according to the time of the day.
I love your work!
